My skin ain’t thick enough.
I let you step on all my toes.
You know how it goes.
First I play tough, after that we make up.
But you can’t see past the end of your nose.
My feelings casting big shadows.
Weight on my shoulders.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
But you’re only getting colder.
I don’t have the stomach for this.
Gave you a finger and let you walk away with both my hands.
Even though you told me you didn’t need them,
you kept walking with them, yeh but you had other plans.
My mouth dry, no appetite.
My eyes wet, told you I lost my sight.
My muscles are too tense.
Body is weak.
Shame on me.
